was struck by two things while I went around my Saturday errands (if you must know, a trip to the dump and then the blood bank (26 gallons!).

The first was an NPR piece on a 13 year old who got mentioned on the sports broadcast for predicting something about sports (don't ask me - I have no idea what they are talking about)). He's got a twitter feed with a bunch of people and he got a nugget and published it - it went viral and now he's on easy street (you don't think that's not going to show up on his resume?).

The second was some clown at the burger joint. He stepped in front of me in line at the drink machine (didn't even see me), took a long moment to decide what he wanted, iced up, sodaed up, and then stood there and took a long slow drink. I wanted to put his head under the tap and diet him.

Okay, so I've got anger problems.

How to capitalize them.

I figured that instead of casting this out to FaceBook and letting it get read by my 92 friends and perhaps shared here and there, I should create another blog file for these little spit-dripping nuggets I occasionally feel like writing. Trust me, the world is full of things I hate, from clowns who chose not to use their turn signals to fundamentalists disproving their own religions through their murderous actions. The world is a stupid place - what better way to take advantage of it then to blog about it?

The idea being, with simple off-color rants (tied to other rants, along with my books and such) I might generate even more traffic through here. I haven't figured if the "I hate" pieces will be a weekly feature - depends. I've got a lot of other writing assignments (weekly book reviews, writing articles, and also model train operations). But who knows - the point is to pull people into the site and maybe this will be the thing to do it.

Doesn't cost me anything. So let's see how this works...

Get ready for venom!

Unfortunately, the world has turned into a "me" world and not the "you" or "us" world that I grew up in.

I think it has to do with the insolation of the younger generation caused by cell phones. They always seem to have thier attention directed to them texting or looking things up on the web.

Yes, but I even see adults, people in their 40s and 50s, jumping a couple of places on the onramp of the freeway or running in the breakdown lanes. These are adults!

I can't imagine my dad doing something like that.
