Breaking Eggs (DOG EAR)

Breaking Eggs (DOG EAR)

ough day yesterday. Lots of work around the house, cleaning out storage, and getting my model train layout to run. And at the train club it was kinda an off night (meaning a lot of people stood around and gassed while the rest of us picked up the slack). So by the time I’d gotten home and blogged the session, I was pretty beat.

Fastwind to this morning, when those two lovable kittens, Chinki and Ritz, were screaming for breakfast at 5am (as always). Fed then and found my way back to bed. With two kittens slumbering (so cutely) on my legs, with the morning dawn chirping outside, I found myself unable to get back to sleep.

Lots to do today. Including, first and foremost, this blog.

What to write about?

Not sure. But I thought about the rest of my day. Not much to do. Dinner with Mom and Sis, so that was a plus. And oh, yeah, it’s Thursday. This is diner day, the day we go over to Juniors and get omelettes. And since it’s not a busy day there, we’ll walk right in and take a pick of booths. Tammy the waitress will give us extra portions. We’ll chat with her but mainly read our books.

And my book is good – New York 2140, an effort which I am enjoying immensely.

So I suppose, all things considered, it’s going to be a pretty good day for a bookworm like me.

I hope your day will be just as pleasant!
