Leading the horse to water (DOG EAR)

o I’ve been thinking about the divided nation we live in. People are so touchy now (and being a “people”, I suppose that extends to me). In my wife’s weekly coffee club, someone invited a clod who sat across from me and talked politics to the person next to him (in rude and belittling ways) until I silently got up and walked out. Both sides of the aisle (DOG EAR)

o I’m currently reading One Second After by William R. Forstchen. I was talking good books and nuclear war (of all things) with a couple of guys in the train club and my conservative counterpart loaned me this one. I don’t want to get too much into the novel since I still have a review to write (and, more importantly, I haven’t finished yet). But there are things that bother me.
